Homemade Humidor

Just curious about a homemade humidor idea I had. Before I get started let’s get this out of the way….I am indeed a newb and still learning the ways of the leaf. However my passion and interest in this world is very real! With that being said here was my BYOH idea.
I live in tornado alley OK. So naturally my home has a walk in 12x12 tornado shelter that is air tight for the most part. I was going to build shelves and utilize a humidifier to turn it into a walk in….terrible idea? Great idea? Would love to get thoughts from y’all.

An airtight tornado shelter doesn’t make sense and is a terrible idea.
But any kind of shelter like that is more than likely concrete and would not be good for a humidor. If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

The logistics of making your shelter a walk in humidor is vast (labor/materials) and very costly. Suggestion IMHO…Look up coolidor on past threads. This might be a better option until you decide what you really want/need.
A good cigar and the open road solve most problems.

Hell of a way to wait out the storm. Need to leave space for the bar.
