Algae in NewAir 1500?

I noticed some growth in the water reservoir of my NewAir 1500 electric humidor. I cleaned out he tank but I’m concerned that the humidification system is contaminated. It seems to be a sealed system so I don’t know if I can take it apart to lean. Advice? Thanks!

Wipe everything down with bleach or alcohol. Let it air out. Never use the water reservoir again. But boveda.

Seriously. Use boveda. You don't need water in a plastic box.
