Is this a good cigar or is it just good marketing?

    Marketing. But to each their own. Some people smoke them. I’ve never had one I liked personally. Plus the wrapper leaf commits seppuku every time they are lit.

    If I recall correctly, CigarChick said they were ccom's top seller. How can they be so bad if people keep buying them; I don't understand, is it their success at portraying an image of luxury at the lowest entry point? Are they really that bad?

    There were a couple of decent ones, but so many terrible ones that it's not worth sifting through. Quality control is absolute garbage. They advertise a $30 cigar 'on sale' for $5, so they are probably top seller for newbies who think they found a great deal.

    The sad reality is that if they advertised as a $5 cigar they would probably get more repeat customers. It's just shady sales tactics mixed with a mediocre (at best) product.
