I like getting the answer on that third line but every time I get to the third line it feels like I take a million guesses in my head. Are y’all also spending a lot of time on that third line. Does anybody time themselves? Here it is Saturday morning and I can take more time than weekday mornings and also I would prefer mornings but I can’t take too much time from my weekday routine before it starts to make me run late. I should time myself on that third line. Today, while I was not exactly sure of how long my third guess took, I realized if I had just given a faster response I would still find the word by four or five for a “win” but I’m far less satisfied with myself the farther down I go on the board. I guess golf would kill me if wordle bothers me in this small way.
Yeah, I spend a lot of time on the third line too. Yesterday I started the puzzle but didn't find time to get back to it to finish, I find that a break away can help come up with the solution.

Anybody do the New York Times mini crossword? There’s a built in timer but I only did it a few times and was never aware of the time until it tells me at the end how long I took.

Looked it up, it was match. My mistake was picking less common letters over the m. Watch, patch, batch, latch, hatch, whatever.
