Why can’t you get it open? Give us some more details. I’ll take a wild, uninformed guess. Maybe it pries open like my key fobs for my vehicle and that is sometimes tricky because it requires force to pop it open but I figure too much force will break the plastic casing.

I think we’re being trolled. Our resident troll/trolls like to ask dumb questions like this just to stir the pot and get some drama going. I found a picture of the back of one of these hygrometers and it has a slide hatch on the back. It couldn’t be more simple unless somebody covered the slide hatch with the mounting tape. Even if that’s the case, it’s still too simple for someone with average intelligence to be unable to figure it out. We got trolled.
