Has anyone had one of these vintage cigars?

My friend has some of these vintage cohiba 2006 limited edition. He got them as a gift. Any idea if they are good? valuable?

I don’t believe they started using the hologram until 2010. I might be wrong on that though.

They're good if they're authentic and stored properly since new.

They're valuable if somebody wants to give you money for them and you have a plan for finding that person and convincing them to give you money.

Looks like Rusty's right, that band shouldn't have a hologram.

after doing some research, it seems as if the box has revisado on it which can mean it went back to the factory for a second inspection? some other guy was showing a real one and his had a holo on it.. its confusing to say the least

According to Habanos S.A. That band shouldn’t be on a cigar from 2006

I think @davidklein is trying to revisado his story.

Are you confident that the one he was showing was real?
The red flag is not the Cohiba band itself. Everything I can see about it looks authentic. The issue is with the secondary band that has the 2006 date on it. Those two bands should not be on the same cigar. Reason being is that the bands with the hologram did not start getting used until 2010. So at least one of those bands does not go on that cigar.

The secondary band also doesn’t look right.

Thanks Edward, the differences seem obvious.

Smoke them but don't offer them to others as genuine cohibas.

That’s why I just don’t bother with Cubans. It’s all too confusing.
