Been awhile... but I'm back!!
Hello... ever everybody! It's been 15 years since I've been on this great forum. Had to stop cigars because of an illness I got but now my doctor has given me the green light.
So anyway I maybe out of line and could use the members help. I bought a box of Drew Estate Liga Privada No.9 Belicoso... and I HATE THEM!! I have 20 left from the box of 24. I don't know if I.can find someone to trade them or just buy them outright. I paid $485 and I just don't enjoy them. So is anybody interested in these, for either a trade or $350 from Cigars Direct. It's a lot less than I paid but I have the box and everything that came with them. If I'm out of line in asking, I'm sorry but it's been awhile since I've been here. So is anybody interested or am I not allowed to do this? Thank you, it's nice to be back.

You overpaid
Welcome back
Welcome back, terrible news about the 9's.

I agree with @Rdp77 and in New Hampshire you can find them cheap.... and most people still pass on them. They are no where near the original.
Thanks for all the feedback... and yeah it seems I overpaid but I couldn't find any Fuentes and I fell for CA reviews... big mistake!! If anybody wants to make me an offer that's fair, I'm good with that. I'm just not going to smoke them and theyre just gonna sit in the humidor. I never had the originals and you're right. Nothings ever as good as the originals but people have bought these and someones gotta like em.. but there are so so many cigars out there and you just never know.
But I'll take this as a learning lesson... again thanks for all the feedback. This is a great group and it's nice to be back... 😀
Oh yeah... I used to be ajm_cigars (I think, my memories not what it used to be.. getting old sucks!!!) LOL
Welcome back @ajmorlanne
@ajmorlanne
Put them in the bottom of your humidor and try again in 6 weeks, 6 months, year, 2 years.... maybe they hit their stride.
Welcome back, @ajmorlanne. I second the recommendation about setting them down to rest for a few months and trying them again. I've had some great cigars that tasted hollow without much flavor right out of the box, only to become favorites in a few months, so I usually hide my new boxes of cigars from myself for a couple months before smoking.
Welcome back, @ajmorlanne.
I'm curious to know if you are finding pleasure in any other cigars since you began smoking again. Based only on what you have stated in this thread and the other thread, you've had four of the Liga Privadas without satisfaction, but you have not mentioned any other cigars.
15 year hiatus, wow! Welcome back from the matrix @ajmorlanne
A good cigar and whiskey solve most problems.
