I did some searches and didn't see specifics on exact plasticware that is best for a tuperdoor. If you have a specific brand and model that will hold a few boxes.

Iris Weatherpro is what a lot of people recommend. They have a rubber seal and 4 clamps around the lid. So many sizes available, just pick what you think you'll need and double it, or get two, LOL. They are probably available on Amazon, but the link is to the manufacturer's site.

Awesome thanks. Exactly what I needed. Have avoided buying boxes. But got on an auction site and it went downhill from there

First two I bought, I added a 1/8" layer of weatherstripping for a better seal. The next four or five I didn't bother to add any weatherstripping. Hard to tell if it mattered at all.

In warmer climates it can start that way but eventually it will equalize. Just takes longer.

The taking longer is the benefit. If your cigars are going to go through changes in temp or humidity, the slower they do it the better. Rapid temp changes can make oils in the tobacco rise to the surface and then be expelled either through evaporation or by latching onto something like cello. Brown cello isn’t really a good thing…especially if it’s a cigar that’s only a couple years old.

Also, the cigars, the more you have, will act as insulators as well. Don't leave a cooler empty.

Yeah, that’s what @Wylaff was trying to explain to someone and I believe they thought he was joking. Having major air spaces can make things harder to keep regulated, so filling that air space with something helps.

I always just figured anything that's food grade and air tight. Seems to work for me.

Yes in the lid. Seals against the edges. I put a Govee and bovedas inside on the face so I can keep a visual on the vitals. $20 one will hold a few hundred cigars easily.
