As is my custom I'd like to honor Marines of my platoon who were killed from May 13 to May 18 1967

Russel Keck posthumous Navy Cross
Doc James Gales

We were in a three day frontal assault with a battalion of dug in and well camouflaged North Vietnamese Army regulars. We had to sacrifice our point Marines to find enemy bunkers.
I am alive because of their sacrifice, I sing their praisers.

    Sorry for what you and the others had to go through ( as well as so many others). It is a good day to honor them and their loved ones that also paid a price.
