Politics of it all aside, it cracks me up when people get their “information” about The Constitution from social media or politicians. Heaven forbid they actually read it and know what it says.

Possibly knowing something about recent history might help.

That’s sad but true. Funny thing is, this is the very reason I made my two learn to read and write cursive. I wanted them to be able to stand in The National Archives and read The Constitution and The Declaration of Independence for what they are and not what people tell them they are.
