First-world problems

I'll start:
Frustration with the size, location, and design of cup holders in new cars is on the rise—and it holds enormous influence on whether we buy a ride or not.

I have 6 and wouldn't give up one of them.

I remember when these were a “necessity”.
I have to move the food in the front of the refrigerator to see what is in the back! GRRRR!!!
I was about to go searching for an image of one of those. You beat me to it.
It is impressive how that cheap plastic cup holder forced a change in automobile design from nonexistent to a valued necessity.
If I got in a new vehicle today and it had no cup holders, I would question the manufacturer's entire engineering integrity.
The next big thing will be something built-in to hold cellphones.

The very front of the console under the dash on the Rogue I drive has a cordless charger built in. It's not a holder for viewing but there is integration between the phone and the vehicle where you can operate the phone from the large touch screen display on the dashboard, whether you are charging or not.
Mine has two. Wireless charging and a holder... it's a 2019
I have a button on the steering wheel and voice commands for my phone but never use the phone except for turning it on every few weeks to see if it needs to be charged. A first world problem that doesn't effect me, though I will use it if there is a power outage.
I have power windows
Power windows, power locks, power steering, power brakes and A/C are necessities.

Nahhh, cars were driven for years without them. People say that cell phones are necessities too but I go all over the place without one.
My 1966 vw square back had a radio that worked, 6 volt system kept eating starters so I got used to putting it in neutral giving it a push, jump back in and throw it into gear. No AC, crank windows, don't remember if it had power brakes or steering, and the heat exchanger was rusted through so if you wanted heat you had to enjoy the smell of exhaust. Got me around fine.
Pretty sure they call that standard equipment these days.
Had a cousin drove a car a year, backed in uphill to pop start it. Fortunately uphill isn't hard to find, in this part of Missouri.
Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.
I had a '65 VW bug, sunroof and open windows for cooling. The heater worked great, all summer long. Different story in the winter.

Real first world problem... My company gave me a new iphone, but I can't remember my apple id. So it's only half set up. Now I have to carry my new phone for calls and texts as well as my old phone for email and teams. I don't want to carry 2 phones. I don't even want to carry 1 phone...
At any given time the urge to sing "In The Jungle" is just a whim away... A whim away... A whim away...
Now you've got a new leash on life.
If it’s a company phone, why don’t you have a company Apple ID?
abusive technology...
AI ‘Nudify’ Websites Are Raking in Millions of Dollars
BY MATT BURGESS | 5-MINUTE READ
Millions of people are accessing harmful AI “nudify” websites. New analysis says the sites are making millions and rely on tech from US companies.
For years, so-called “nudify” apps and websites have mushroomed online, allowing people to create nonconsensual and abusive images of women and girls, including child sexual abuse material. Despite some lawmakers and tech companies taking steps to limit the harmful services, every month, millions of people are still accessing the websites,

The tech companies aren’t trying to limit it…or it would be limited. They’re making too much money from it.
My 52 Buick with a straight 8 had the greatest windshield wipers , a nob above the window that you manually rotated while driving a vehicle designed like a Sherman tank down the road with no power steering and brakes that were, well they were called brakes anyway
I do... I can't remember the password. I went through all the lost my password crap and Apple said they would send me an email within a couple of days to reset it. I just have to wait for their systems...

What are the websites so I know not to go to them
I don't have problems, just more work to do.
