Moving on to the English sampler we have:
BritishFirst thing I notice is the dryness of the tobacco. Not dried out but sort of dry. I'm not an English guy so that may be normal. It seemed like an ok smoke, just not my thing. Disregard any negative comments I may make about the English samples, they're just not my style of smoke.
I have found their stuff generally dry. Not overly but dry compared to many. Is that what you are seeing across these samples?

Yes. Not having Cavendish probably has a lot to do with it.

With some warmer weather.2 -
The pass arrived. I'll be loading it up with some English blends, as I don't have straight burley stuff.
Hey, you gonna eat the rest of that corndog?5 -
I finally found this pouch to toss in the pass.

Gonna include two unsmoked long stemed basket pipes (La Rocca) if someone likes or needs one. First come first served sorta deal.

Got it yesterday, much larger than I was expecting. Will try to get in moving along Tuesday when the PO is open.

First up, 333 in my cob.

Not bad, admittedly, I was skeptical about the burleys. This one is a nice light tobacco flavor, slightly sweet, with a very clean finish. No bite. Haven't read what it says on the LJP site yet. Suppose I'll do that now.Edit: Supposed to be a fairly heavy tobacco. Guess I'm used to bolder and heavier. This one gets better the more I smoke the bowl, though.

Unfortunately, I can't spend time with the burleys tonight. Work came home with me, so, cigar time.

Sorry, one more working evening. Thank you for your patience.

Alright, back to the pass. 111 in the usual cob.
I believe I like this better than the 333. Seems quite a bit more dynamic in flavor. It seems sweeter, but there's something else to it. Virginia?
The description says eight tobaccos and an Irish non-aro. Yes, I like this one. I may purchase some. I was doubting LJP's ability to satisfy.Edit for spelling.
