Opus X Lost City

While at my local shop the guy that works there hooked my and my buddy nick up with something special they keep behind the counter and not out in the public eye. I had never even heard of these let alone seen one, but it is the Opus X Lost City. These were specially made with an off season crop for the movie "The Lost City" with Andy Garcia. I got one in the lancero size just to give it a shot! I am pumped about this one and know I'll probably never get my hands on another so who knows when I'll actually save it. The guy there said they are very similar to the Opus but a little more mild bodied. I was wondering if anyone here has had one of these or has even heard of them.

    I've heard of those. I'm on a mailing list for another online store and this was in one of their last couple newsletters. Also mentioned was the Opus BBMF (big bad mother-****). Oh and you can buy a Lost City humidor in three different colors, each comes with 50 Lost City OpusX for the low price of $2,250....I'm buying three.Smile [:)]

    ha...I've heard of them as well. I think they are a recent release. As in they haven't been out for more than a year. Gorgeous humidors, but don't think I have an extra 2k laying around. I'm just as interested in the film...anyone ever see it?

    They're actually a very recent release (as in less than a month ago). They're this year's set for the Fuente Story. Last year they released a black box and a brown box. One had 4 forbidden x's, the other had 1 forbidden, 1 don carlos and 2 scorpios, along with a booklet on the Fuente family and farm/estate.

    Oh I thought that black box was a regular thing... ah, glad I was able to get one.

    It's good to know someone has heard of these. I didn't know anything about them until he showed them to us. I'm glad I snagged one while I had the chance!

    I would love to right now, but I'm back at work today so I won't be lighting anything up for the next 3 days.

    I'll keep ya posted on it. It will probably be something I sit on for a long time, but I'll get to it one of these days. It's always so hard to wait on a smoke like that! lol

    I would love to buy a box but $300 is out of my price range for the time being. Definately worth aging though...
