Interesting take on Aerosmith. Somehow I don't believe her when she's singing "all these lines on my face getting clearer"...methinks she's at least a few years away from even crow's feet.
gonna have to STRONGLY disagree with ya there... decent voice doing a slow, dramatic version of the song...
the song, which happens to be a masterpiece of rock music, that was written by a 17 yr old Steven Tyler...
so yeah, cool cover... better than the original? not even close.
I do appreciate you posting it though, you always have interesting music for us Stephen!
For me there is something that is more compelling when the song is sung by the songwriter. In this case of Dream On it was done very, very well by Aerosmith.
I remember driving home from college once when I was about 19 or 20 y.o. I had a couple of friends in the car and Dream On was playing on the radio. I was paying more attention to my driving than the song. Something in me wanted to see what else was playing on the radio that day so I flipped the station about half way through it... My friends both exploded! They said something like; What are you doing? I was just getting into the song! Since then I do not remember ever switching out of that song and I have always taken the time to get into the lyrics. Great song.

Man I forgot how much I love that song ! Stephen , I really enjoy both versions about the same , but if I had to choose which one to listen to I would be hard pressed to not pick the new version . Maybe its because I'm older than some of you guys , I dont know , but to me it just seems to reflect on my generation as to how we view the song's words and our world at this point in our lives . I like it !!! Thanks Stephen for posting it .
Am I old ? I don't know but I do have a autographed copy of the bible ... oooppppssss ! Shouldn't have said that !
Prozak "The Hitchcock of Hop" and his sick CD "Tales from the Sick" came out 4 years ago and is still the #2 Album for the company he is signed with , which includes a ton of talent like Tech N9ne, Machine Gun Kelly, and others I can't think of atm
