Love me some Baseball, is there anyone else out there crazy about America's pastime? What are your favorite teams? I have a few: Giants, Reds, Red Sox, and Mariners + anyone playing the Cubs.

I have to be nicer to the Yankees because my son likes them, but He loves the Red Sox over the Yankees, so I keep hoping the Yanks are a faze, lol

A lot of my family live in Billings.
My youngest brother builds rat rods and is usually at most the car shows.

My stay with the Mustangs was extremely short lived. LOL!
    Like, don't unpack short lived.
I say it was a week, but my wife corrects me and says 10 days.

Luckily, my family was here and when I was sent home, only had to drive to west billings. LOL!

Baseball is a boring sport.  It's a sport based on numbers for the unintelligent
Jk, baseball is part of my life. I've been a coach for my son's LL for a few yrs now.

Glad to see I'm not the only one that follows more than one team. The Twins are the closest team and I have been to see them dozens of times. Also grew up watching the Cubs on WGN. Favorite players: Kirby Puckett, Andre Dawson, Mark Grace....

Also, threads like this go in the non-cigar related portion. NCR for short.

Open ending day is a holiday round here. Cardinals Nation, it doesn't get any better.

Life is too short to smoke bad cigars!!!

Oh when the Blues, Oh when the Blues, Oh when the Blues go marching in!

Anyone see the trip round the bases last night for Piscotty?  Hit in right elbow at the plate to get on, hit in left elbow on a play at second, then smoked in the helmet by ball at play at the plate. That is one unlucky trip round the bases.

Since I have your attention - Lets Make 2 lists - List 1 If you compared a team to cigars what would it be - (Give me 2)
    NY Yankees = Opus X
    Pittsburg Pirates = Gurkhas
    ETC....

List 2 Your line up and batting order with cigars

Catcher - Padron (Consistent with a strong arm)
First - New World (Big, slow, but packs a punch)
Second - Montecristo (Good lead-off hitter, not overly strong)
Short Stop - La Palina Black Label (Always in the right place at the right time)
Third - Eiroa The First 20 Years (Great Hitter)
Left Field - La Gloria Cubana Serie R (Clean-Up Hitter at a bargain)
Center Field - Intemperance Whiskey Rebellion (Solid)
Right Field - Black Label Last Rites (Big Hitter, little slow)
Pitcher - Man O' War Skull Crusher
Relief Pitcher - Sancho Panza Double Maduro
Closer - Oliva Serie V (Lights Out, but sneaky)

NY Yankees = Davidoff. Expensive, outstanding and in a league of their own
Boston Red Sox= White owl. Old, grumpy and not willing to change( like their fan base and "arena like" baseball field. IMHO.
