I like it any time of the day. I like it ice cold and steaming hot. But this is absurd......$1500.00

Almost as absurd as starting a new thread to tell us how absurd it is.  ;)

I like tea, but I like coffee and cigars more.

My grandmother used to make me dandelion tea with sorell (clover), licorice fern, osha root(bear root) and honey when I was battling a cold.
The sorell and honey was more to cut the nasty taste of most of it.

I haven't had dandelion tea in ages, mostly cause I have no idea how to prepare it and it tastes awful.

If you want to save $1500, you can use your eyes and look at the size of the water vapor bubbles in you kettle to gauge the temperature.

We are having our second batch of dandelion greens tonight. It's kind of a spring tonic for us. We like them chopped and wilted in a cast iron skillet with a warm bacon and onion vinegarett. Osha is good stuff but it tastes like a bears butt.

The terrible thing is that osha root does taste terrible, but it does work.
I keep osha root syrup around and my boys like to watch me take it, cause dad's face is so funny when he takes it.

Boy that brought back a rush of memories and Grandma. Her home medicines and potions were almost legend in my family. Wish I had been old enough to write them down.

I used to love sorell and honey tea.
Nothing like green apples and honey.
She wouldn't send us out in the woods for sorrel, cause we'd eat half of it by the time we got home and end up with a stomach ache and she had some nasty tonic for that too.

Why did all those remedies taste like crap?
