I didn't ask years ago. I asked if anyone had them and what their thoughts were. I don't recall ever seeing ANYTHING about me asking for any. I don't know where the hell you think I was begging for anything this time around either... I wanted to trade! PLAIN AND SIMPLE! Like I said in an earlier comment, It worked well when I traded for the Bankers and I thought I might try to set up a trade again! Im not 'Ninja style dry begging' for anything! I prefer trading because one - it opens up space in my humidor for new stock. Two - I can interact with people on here who aren't d!cks! Three - cause that's what this community USED TO BE ABOUT! I did quite a few trades and quite a few bombings back in the day. I have moved on to other hobbies now that have taken up a lot of my budget. HENCE THE REASON FOR TRADES! Its way more cost effective to trade... $7 for shipping instead of $50-150 on buying new stuff!

What can I do to make things easier around here? I don't want to leave. I enjoy a vast majority of what gets posted on this forum. It seems that whenever I ask an opinion on a cigar or want to do a trade or want to send out a bunch of cigar bands... I get crapped on. I would like it to stop. I would also like to continue being part of the forum.... Tell me what I can do. This is me being down right humble and wanting to clear up a BS rep that I don't deserve.

Not being confrontational. Just trying to clarify things. So please don't take this as me starting anything.
Go back and read that Gameboy thread. I started it because I bought one and was nerding out. Bert found one and offered to send it out well after the thread was started. It was not my intent to get anything out of that thread. I have no need friends that live around me and had fun talking to other old school gamers.
As for the celebratory cigar thread... I bought my own cigar (a Winston Churchill if i recall properly) based off everyone's input.

I posted that I wanted to BUY raw rubies for my daughter when she got a mineral kit. I ended up going to eBay and found some. Kinda figured there would have been rock or mineral collectors here. No one sent me anything.
Same thing with the coins. I wanted to a buy coins from people here for a project I had in mind. I was sent one. Which I offered to pay for. Which was declined. I could have ordered them off eBay like I do with most of my stuff. But again I wanted see if people I liked and talked with would have had anything.

I do and have used this forum to bounce ideas I've been planning. When I do accomplish that I do forget to follow up. Yeah. Some of my plans are huge and unattainable. But I put a lot of foot work into them. So I see and get that. I'll do better to follow up. Realistically I've learned a lot from people off those threads. I'm really have. A lot of info has squished my ideas cause I had no clue they would be that difficult or involved. I guess one reason I don't follow up is cause I forget or don't want to admit failure. So yeah. Sorry I use you guys to bounce ideas off of and leave you hanging. I hadn't thought of that.
I don't share my reviews on cigars cause my palate is crap. lol I honestly cand distinguish flavors if I don't know what I'm looking for. 75% of the stuff I enjoy because I know I didn't put the stick of half way through.
as for my participation level in threads and comments... honestly half the time when I can pop on and look at new stuff... questions have been answered and it seems redundant if I chime in. This forum is the best place I have found about exchanging knowledge of the hobby we all obviously love. But it usually comes in the form of "Hey I bought this cigar and I really like it" or "If you like this cigar you should try this one". I have had people text me and ask if I have tried this cigar. I will lie and say that I have because I don't want them to send me one. I buy them myself to try.

I know it's not Craigslist or eBay. But I felt at the time like I was active or known enough that it would be a comfortable thing to do. I'll refrain from that in the future.
Ill lll admit I have fallen behind on my bombs and trading activity from when I was more active here. I won't deny it. I've done a couple trades and sent some sticks with my cigar bands. I gave this a lot of thought last night. I've alienated myself from this group pretty well. Lol i really do want to be more involved. I miss the community. But I don't want you guys to lose DZR. He is more of an asset than I am. If me being around means he leaves it's not worth it to me to have you guys lose him. Not fair for you guys. Someone contact him and tell him I'm taking off.
