Guys with cooler using humidity beads

I have a 70qt using a pound of humidity beads. Mostly store my boxes and have some loose cigars. I’ve been noticing some of the cigars at the bottom have been a little dry. Nothing too bad that I can’t smoke but was wondering if you put anything at the bottom of your cooler? I have my beads sitting at the top almost a full cooler. Maybe just had some bad ones lately but wanted to know if I needed anything for the bottom might help.

Maybe try rotating the boxes from top to bottom?

Humidity rises so you want some in the bottom.

Agreed. Get some form of humidity device towards the bottom of your cooler.

I went ahead and put about a half pound of beads at the bottom. I will have to put another hygrometer down there soon.

Just move the one you have down there once in a while.

I had one from a box at the bottom and it smoked fine. It was mostly on the loose cigars that were on the bottom. I’ll move them around. Thank you guys for your input.
