Hi All...I'm new to cigar smoking and to the forum. Got interested in cigars through a friend. He recommended I give it a try based on my love of whiskeys and coffees. I'm glad he did as I'm really enjoying learning more about cigars, and trying different blends. So far I haven't really been drawn to the more mild, lighter sticks. My favorites at this point have been the Oliva O toro, Punch toro, and the Onyx Reserve robusto...great experiences with all three, but the Onyx blew my mind. I still have burns on my fingertips from smoking that one down as far as I could. :D

Anywho...I look forward to getting to know everyone here. From what I've read so far, there is a lot of knowledge in here. Have a great weekend...Jeff

    Thanks for the welcome, y'all!

Amos, I'm not Jeff Smeltzer, but my buddies and I used to hand out each other's numbers to the less attractive women we would meet at the bars. :#

Here's where I'm at with things:
20 stick wood desktop humidor (being seasoned with 84% Boveda pack)
50 stick wood desktop humidor (being seasoned with (2) 84% Boveda packs)
    (2) digital hygrometers that are calibrated using the salt test
Have approximately (40) assorted sticks from samplers and 3-packs that I currently have stored in a tupperdor while the humidors are seasoning.

I can tell already that the 50 stick wont be large enough for very long. I'm using the 20 for the few flavored sticks I currently have. Thanks again for the warm welcome!
