It was suggested I give a little more detail.
This fellow lost his job, wife, house everything when he got sick. Had to move and a was lucky enough to have people accept him into their homes in various parts of the country so he could be neAr where he had to be treated. Then he lived in various homeless shelters until he finally got an apartment where he is now.

Glad to hear he has his own digs now. Homeless shelters aren't ideal but they are life-savers. They are one social program that deserves support from everyone who can help.5
