Arturo Fuentes Cigars
So, I’m just finishing my first AF cigar...Hemingway from @84CJ7. There is a woody/nuttiness that I’m getting out of it that I like a lot. In your experience, is this a characteristic to the Hemingways or to the Fuentes cigars in general? Very enjoyable smoke!
Keep your gratitude higher than your expectations.

I suspect that much of the flavor that you're tasting is from the Cameroon wrapper used on the Hemingway line of Arturo Fuente cigars, not anything unique to AF. I get woody notes and nuttiness from other cigars that don't have Cameroon wrappers, though.
Maybe @0patience, our resident Cameroon subject matter expert, can weigh in on this one.

Yep, I'd say you are tasting the cameroon wrapper.Willy_MN said:So, I’m just finishing my first AF cigar...Hemingway from @84CJ7. Arturo Fuente uses cameroon on a lot of their cigars, which is why they are so good.
Sweet cedar/woodsy tastes are common with cameroon.
I wouldn't say it is a characteristic of all AF cigars, because some of them are sungrown, maduro, etc.
But it is pretty common amongst the AF cigars with cameroon wrappers.
Welcome to the world of cameroon wrappers.
You now see why so many people love cameroon wrappers.
Some cigars with cameroon wrappers will have a slightly different taste, because of the fillers, but most of them will have a sweet woodsy taste to them, supplemented by other tastes, such as cinnamon, fruit and earthy tastes.
Take a read on this page, to get an idea of some cameroon cigars to give a try.

One of the things I like about AF cigars is their construction. Nice even long burn with very few touch ups.3

Hemingway. Classic, Signature, Short Story, no matter the vitola this is probably my all time favorite cigar. The bad thing about them is the gravitational factor. I can't seem to make my hand go any farther once it reaches one of them in the humidor. Then, soon, you find that you must buy another box of Hemingways. And, of course, they're backordered, and so the search begins."If you do not read the newspapers you're uninformed. If you do read the newspapers, you're misinformed." -- Mark Twain5

BTW, @Willy_MN , you'll find that you really can't go wrong with any Fuente cigar. Some are better than others, but all are good, even the cheapies are good. That can't be said of all cigar makers. I'm partial to the Spanish Lonsdale Maduro, myself. Less expensive than the Hemingway, more flavorful than the Curly Head or 8-5-8, take some time to peruse their line, buy 5-ers, you'll be glad you did.
Oh, and treat yourself to an Opus X every once in awhile.
