So I decided to light one of the Black Lion Cameroons up.
I generally pride myself in knowing about most cameroon cigars, but somehow, this one slipped by me.
This cigar was about $68 for a box of 25, so the price range was very inexpensive.

Construction seems pretty good. A little toothy, with veins.
This wrapper is a little thicker than most cameroons I've had, which is nice.
Fairly easy draw. Smooth, sweet cedar,almost no pepper on the first third.
Good burn. No touch ups yet.
Second third, pepper starts to kick in a little, still smooth sweet cedar, but getting some grassy tastes and that may be that it may be a little on the humid side.
Last third, still burning good, no touch ups.
Pepper is slight, but there. Sweet cedar, grassy and a hint of cinnamon.
This is a terrible review, I know.

I think it is a step above the Latitude Experimental Cameroon.
The only thing that I can find that is a negative is the veiny wrapper.
Which really isn't that big a negative.
It doesn't have the range of flavors that the New World Cameroon has, but for the price, it is quite good.
Don't get me wrong, it is by no means on the level of the 1916 or New World, but still very good.
I'm quite happy I purchased a box.
