Spanish Cedar Trays

Do any of you have experience with the trays from http://winedors.com/accessories.html ? I'm looking to start outfitting my cooler, and am wondering about their quality? Any other sources for quality trays?

This is interesting info, @peter4jc...thanks for sharing that. I always assumed the cedar interacted in some way with the tobacco during the aging process. I will be interested in more on the topic!

I asked Whynter for the actual trays they use and they sent me this link: https://ambientstores.com/whynter-chc-251s-drawer-with-hygrometer-cutout-chc-cgbxh-500/ -I don't know if you can find what you may need there or not.

I do use Spanish cedar trays for a variety of storage elsewhere, and use these now exclusively: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B079V3KYT7/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00__o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 -I've bought various kinds before, but those are the best I have found yet. Out of at least 10 so far, all of them have been great. Made in China is the only detraction, but quality nonetheless.

Dog, thanks for this tip. I ordered (2) to try out in my cooler and, aside from being Chinese made, they are nice pieces! If anyone else is looking for trays, they're pretty well built and affordable.

Cedar does help maintain  the humidity but that’s pretty much it except what Peter said.

Bringing this thread up because I found the most genius cedar tray I've ever seen.
I have not found one like this for sale, but I plan on making a bunch for my tower, without the handles, of course.

Looks great. Great idea using the pegs to keep everything nice and organized. If you make a few extra let me know. I would be interested in buying one or two from you :)

The humidor is a little pricey, but the trays are brilliantly engineered.
