That would be a Alec Bradley Vandal correct? Excuse my ignorance but your description of the stick caught my attention. I'm new to the cigar world and enjoying trying new smokes. Thanks in advance.KenpoKnight said:If you like a lot of spice and pepper that’s what you get.

Vuelta Abajo
A damn good baccy makes a damn good smoke
2 Vuelta Abajo Seco, 1 Mata Fina, Dom Olor binder, Criollo wrapper + about a year and a half of age.La Vuelta Abajo translates literally as "the turn below" or "the turn down". But not like turning down a bed; prolly more like a turn around the garden, or a stroll. So kinda like a walk thru the lowlands. It's the name of a famous gar leaf growing valley in Cuba; tho this was grown in the DR. Nice, deep, moody flavored baccy. Especially with the Olor, which is aroma. But my Spanglish is old & limited, as it's a long time since I lived in Kali.I can only hope you guys are smoking as good as I am tonight.
“It has been a source of great pain to me to have met with so many among [my] opponents who had not the liberality to distinguish between political and social opposition; who transferred at once to the person, the hatred they bore to his political opinions.” —Thomas Jefferson (1808)

Yes that’s what it is. Not quite what I prefer but everyone’s palate is different. I say go for it if you think it might be something you enjoy. Only way to find out is try them all!NineToes said:

Viaje Platino El Gallito or something like that. A little research says it may be a 2014 release. Still has a lot of flavor and a fair amount of pepper. Quite good.10 -

Thank you very much @cbuck Charlie! This El trovador is wonderful. You would at least call it excellent!

I tried an Espinosa Crema from a B&M down here and really enjoyed it so I went back and got an Espinosa Habano. Equally enjoyable
Now this is not the end of the cigar. It is not even the beginning of the end of the cigar. But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning of the cigar.11 -
Just nice, if I remember correctly. Glad you are enjoying though! I liked the price!VegasFrank said:Thank you very much @cbuck Charlie! This El trovador is wonderful. You would at least call it excellent!
