Punches not holding Humidity

Johnny_KickassJohnny_Kickass Posts: 14 ✭✭

Hello, I have 3 humidors with a range of cigars from Davidoff, Romeo & Juliets, pig tails etc, They all are holding humidity fine. My Punch Double Coronas are not. They feel hard and have spent months in all 3 humidors at one time or another. Like I said the other brands are fine.

Any ideas why these aren't holding any moisture?

Thanks

How are you determining the Punch's ability to 'hold moisture' beyond how they feel? Feeling hard isn't really a good indicator...

They just seen really hard, no give. I'll give one a smoke and see how they do.

Try putting them in a different humidor, at a different humidity

If they smoke fine, don't worry and enjoy.

It's amazing to me, how a cigar can be hard as a rock and still have a great draw... and frustrating when they feel perfect and yet are too tight.

I have a cigar humidity tester. Send them all to me and I'll tell you how humid they are.
