I wait a minimum 3 months to 1 year or longer for everything I buy before I'll smoke one. They just burn better with rest/age and I'm usually smoking in a very humid environment which can ruin my smoking session on it's own.
If you quote me do the @TX98Z28 in your text or I won't be notified of your quote, Thanks.
I've got to rest them a bit first in winter to make sure they've thawed out and then dried out after thawing. Sitting in a semi in the post office lot at -20 for a weekend will freeze them solid regardless of the rh.
I'm still troubled by what I did for that Klondike bar...
If it’s new to me then I generally smoke one ROTT. I can then compare that after it rests for a while. Some generally improve and others it does seem to change much other than maybe the burn.

I've been paying extra for that! What gives?

I generally like to wait a couple weeks but I’ve been known to be impatient and pull one out in a couple days.
Sometimes they were good sometimes not.
