Looking for suggestions
Cigar auction sites are failing me lately. Not much variety in the cigars I'm looking for. Anyone have suggestions for cigars with a similar profile to liga privada, air benders or padrons that come in sizes mid 50s to 60?

You're right brother, there's not much variety to the cigars you're looking for
Simply put, there's nothing like a Padron. Forget about it. Go buy padrons.
There's also not much out there that is like a La Flor dominicana. It's the only Dominican cigar that I know that kind of acts like a Nicaraguan. I guess you could try Winston Churchill late hour if you want to shell out 30 bucks a stick, but that's not really the same.
Something like a liga? Number 9? I guess you could start with an undercrown Maduro. Same blend different wrapper supposedly. Other than that, any peppery broadleaf should be pretty similar. I always enjoyed the EP Carrillo la historia myself. Todos las dias kind of hits you in the face like a number nine. Maybe a Neanderthal too? Little stronger though. The southern draw Jacob's ladder uses a Pennsylvania broadleaf wrapper, but it still kind of hits you like a number nine does. The norteno might be worth a try too, but same company.

Not that I understand what is going on, but if you are looking for liga 9, the same broad leaf wrapper is on the Coalicion which is DE/crowned heads joint venture ... its a good stick. But padron-wannabes... your guess is as good as mine...

CP had a great deal on 5-packs of La Imperiosa, buy 4 for $79 (four or more $19.99 ea) this morning. A lot of folks mention Liga P#9 in the reviews as a comparison. Might be right in your wheelhouse. I snagged 20 also, too good to pass up.
