You can also get a couple empty boxes and fill some space in the mean time. They will help maintain the humidity

Honest answer in case this is an honest question... You can place air pillows in the humidor to take up space without adding to the supply of air than needs to be humidified.

Or, don't worry about it. I have a 250 that keeps humidity just fine half full.
