One of my favorites is double grilled cheese and bacon. Cook a couple pieces of bacon then butter 2 pieces of bread. Put them butter down on the grill. Flip 1 when ready and place cheese and bacon on the grilled side, then put the other on top, grilled surface on the cheese. Finish by flipping/grilling outside of sandwich. There's usually a little butter on the grill so you don't have to butter the outside and it's not as greasy when you eat it.0

Remove the liquid smoke and cook it on an actual smoker. It's no harder to make than meatloaf, just cooks longer.

I was going to fix myself a sandwich for lunch, but we didn't have any sliced cheese so I made some grilled cheese sandwiches instead. (I need to go to the store again)
I made my youngest a grilled cheese sandwich with wheat bread, mayo, and shredded Mexican cheese mix.
I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich with dark rye, mayo, shredded mexican cheese, deli ham, and a dill pickle stacker slice.
And there was much rejoycing.

My old man cut up an aluminum screen door for the metal, and we made sand molds to pour the aluminum into for the shape. We then made the handles out of quarter inch round bar and tapped the ends. Then we made the wooden handles on the lathe and screwed them in.
For the sandwiches, we did wonder bread and canned pie filling (I chose cherry, the best canned option). Good project.
