As I sit hear sinking my teeth I to an amazing creation of a sandwich (Planet Sub, The Experience- holy Moses it's good) I started wondering... What is my favorite sandwich???? I ended up with left over thanksgiving turkey, tomato, bacon on toast with miracle whip. What is your favorite sandwich.

The Plano and Sandiwch chamber of commerce gets together to hold an annual “Plano-Bologna-Sandwich Day,” the small festival is held annually on October 24th, National Bologna Day, and benefits local food charities. Bologna sandwiches are available for a donation of non-perishable food items or $5.

I've smoked a few similar to this recipe BUT I keep the smoker temp at 200 to avoid problems cooking off the water rapidly.

I was going to fix myself a sandwich for lunch, but we didn't have any sliced cheese so I made some grilled cheese sandwiches instead. (I need to go to the store again)
I made my youngest a grilled cheese sandwich with wheat bread, mayo, and shredded Mexican cheese mix.
I made myself a grilled cheese sandwich with dark rye, mayo, shredded mexican cheese, deli ham, and a dill pickle stacker slice.
And there was much rejoycing.

Cajun or mesquite turkey beast, pastrami, mayo, mustard, pickle on a toasted onion bagel.
We made those in 9th grade shop class. My old man cut up an aluminum screen door for the metal, and we made sand molds to pour the aluminum into for the shape. We then made the handles out of quarter inch round bar and tapped the ends. Then we made the wooden handles on the lathe and screwed them in.
For the sandwiches, we did wonder bread and canned pie filling (I chose cherry, the best canned option). Good project.

A good old fashioned BLT with Miracle Whip and homegrown maters is da bomb.
We were talking about BLT and great tomatoes on the vHerf tonight.
Thats my disagree. 1st, miracle whip is nasty (hellmans is the tìts) and 2nd, tomatoes are nasty as well. Carry on
