Looks like I'm now forced to start "The Sarcastic Thread" where only sarcasm is allowed. LOL
For those who weren't here back then, the "Post Every Detail Of Your Mundane Life" thread was only meant as a sarcastic jab at a since-gone member who would routinely post the minutest detail of his boring everyday life, and that thread has lived on since. So be careful with this starting new thread stuff...

I love ambiguity.

Stubble, Peter, and Edward are three of the most generous members of this forum and this place would feel a bit hollow and empty without them.
Continuing the nice thoughts, I took my family to Natural Bridges State Park in Santa Cruz yesterday afternoon to look at the monarch butterflies (there were few with their wings closed up hanging on the eucalyptus trees). We got there a bit late as a lot of people were leaving so we got a great free parking spot outside the park gate and walked in. We heard frogs and saw a deer and a beautiful sunset on the way out.
We then drove down the coast past the surfing museum and stopped in at a board game store (mostly Magic the Gathering, but I picked up a 7 Wonders Architects board game to play with the family in the back yard and then we stopped at Marianne’s Ice Cream on the way home and I picked up a nice lavender ice cream cone. There's better ice creams but it's a rare treat to get lavender ice cream. It was a good day.

@Yakster i have to agree. With you included. You devote your time and energy so that we can do such things as the lottery and vherf.
As a matter of fact I’ve yet to have any continued interaction with anyone on this forum that would fit into those categories. I know there’s a lot of bickering about different subjects and political views. But in the end it’s all about comradery and the “oldsters” like you guys keep things in line by example.
Just happy to get to be a part of it.If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I believe that since he's been here Vision has consistently demonstrated a genuine concern for his fellow man

That reminds me, @peter4jc is a sarcastic fellow, and a genuine pain in the keister, which is what I love most about him ❤

It really isn’t me. I put everyone to work, why should I get the credit for what others do? Thank you though.

For the most part I actually don't like most people. Probably a side effect of doing what I've done for so long. But I've always said that this place is like home, and we are a family. Just don't talk over people on vherf, makes me angry.

That’s my disagree. You go along with the jokes and never let the ball busting get to you. And where else would we get advise on flooring and boat captaining.

I learned so much a few weekends ago, and had such a great time, thanks to @Stubble opening his home to me with no hesitation. Very generous thing to do with both his home and his time.
