Padron 1926

Smoked my first Padron ever yesterday and fell in love! First non Habano Cohiba cigar that I felt really compared to it. Anywho, my question is this:

Padron 1926....#2, #9, #whatever, what does the  difference in number mean?? Is it a different blend? Does it relate only to size differences? Can anyone help me out?

    So same for the Cohiba sigalo? I thought the Cohiba sigalo 1 was very different from 9. But it’s just size?

    How come the number 1 Padron 1926 looks about the same size As number 9?

    The sizes are listed here: https://www.cigar.com/p/padron-1926-series-cigars/1474727/.  #9 is slightly thicker than #2. (1/16")
