What did you get today?

Since I am now back in a shop, I needed a new toolbox.
30 years in a service truck, I haven't really needed a toolbox to work out of.
So I ordered one that I thought would work for me.
I guess I'll find out. It was a third the price of a Snap On box and 3 times the size.

If you got a SnapOn box that size your great grandchildren would still be paying for it lol
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I paid less than $2,000 for this entire unit.
A Snap On roll away I was looking at was $15,000, plus another $3500 for a locker box.
Granted, this one is lighter duty, than the Snap On one, but 10% the cost, I'm OK with it.And had I went with matte black instead of matte blue, it would have been $200 less, but I had to have the blue one.

Was never a big fan of SnapOn boxes. I got one while in vocational school because we got 60% off. Once I had some time in I realized Mac makes a much better tool box and quickly replaced it. I’ve had that box for 20 + years with now issues. For the tools inside the box it’s hard to beat Snap On’s quality and warranty!
Hope the new box treats you well Tony!!If you want to bomb me send it to Tony @0patience

If you are a newbie I got Dem nachos....1 -

Hope the new box treats you well Tony!!I like Snap On's tools. Just don't care for having to chase down the dealer all the time.
Every Snap On dealer I've had to deal with doesn't seem to want to take my money, cause the never show up. I end up having to chase them down and by that time, I'm too irritated to buy anything except the one thing I was after. If the boss lady could have actually been able to reach the Snap On dealer, it's highly likely that he'd have sold me a Snap On toolbox.
She found this big ol toolbox in her search. So they actually saved me a bundle by not getting back to her.

I have always told the guys in the shop tools make you money not the box.

Every year about this time I start thinking about used furniture, and today, about 6 blocks from home while on a walk, I spotted this adorable occasional table. It was no fun schlepping it home, but in 4mos. it will be put to good use.

Did Peter really use the word adorable to describe an end table? I’m starting to worry.
