Memes are memes. Videos are videos. Videos are not memes. That’s my definition. Don’t worry about telling me that most memes nowadays are videos. I am painfully aware of that. If I google memes, 90% of the results are videos. So, let’s compare the content between the two. I say video memes are lazy. They require less effort and wit to make a joke. Hell some of them aren’t even a joke at all, there’s just something funny (hopefully) going on in the video. I’m glad we are still old format on this thread. The day we upgrade to video memes I will post the Michael Jordan crying meme with the caption “Me:”
