Seriously though, I never thought about the V-cut direction until a Humidor Keeper
(??) at a lounge asked me what king of cut I wanted, and when I replied V, he asked parallel to the band, or perpendicular. It made me realize, I have always cut parallel to the band, for no other reason than it seems right.1 -
The band is round. Can a cut be either parallel or perpendicular?
If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I LOL'd, but wanted to Agree also. It can't make a bit of difference to the smoking, but I do it parallel merely as a bit of OCD behavior.
