I can help CCOM develop a mobile version of the site if needed... It is not as easy as it seems... anyway - peace out and happy Thanksgiving all!0

i actually visit ccom on my mobile, no prob. sure it's a little clumsy but that's expected0

I actually brought up this same point when I first joined up. Per the responses there, I started using the Opera browser in my BB, and love it. I have no accessibility issues, and actually prefer the normal site, in comparison to most mobile-version sites I've seen and used.¨The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea¨ - Isak Dinesen

I have Jack which I just upgraded to the new Windows Phone OS, I would not change a thing about how CCOM works or displays on there now.0

I am typing from my Blackberry right now using Opera Mini which is free. I have a new beta version which has issues but it works great. I sometimes have difficulty getting to my inbox but that is all.0

A mobile website, besides making it easier to navigate on the website, will increase the speed dramatically on your devices...

Amigo... I have T(urd)-Mobile with a BB Pearl Flip - about the slowest mobile net setup I can get - and it's perfectly fast for me. I click, and there it goes, without fail. I browse the forums, I read the Cigar list.. I've even bought from my phone.Renaissance_Man:A mobile website, besides making it easier to navigate on the website, will increase the speed dramatically on your devices...

Every single site I've seen that's produced a mobile version has irritated me. I dO recognize that that is just me, however. If Ccom dOes go with a mobile site, I am only against it being the mandatory version to use on a phone (like it is with a lot of other sites).

My samsung delve isn't compatible with any browsers other than the default one. The site is slow as hell for me. I'm not sure if it would really help that much, but I wouldn't mind a bit more speed.0

And now for a resurrection! I've found necromancy abilities!
@TheCigarChick Hey Lindsay, bringing to your attention a possible issue with the mobile site. When trying to open the menu (3 bars in top left) the page freezes and only the side-scrolling advert works. When the front page is reloaded, all works as normal but when the bars are selected, the page does as described. This is on an Android device. I do not know if any others are experiencing the same. Cheers!

I have experienced the same issue for two days in a row now.

@TheCigarChick, @Hawks I'm seeing the same problem with the hamburger menu in the top left corner of the www.cigar.com main mobile site as Chris reported above. I tried Duck Duck Go and Chrome browsers on my Android phone and no joy.
The hamburger menu on the forum.cigar.com page is working normally.

The work-around is, scroll down to the bottom of the page, click on THE COMPANY, then Community, then scroll down to the Cigar.com Forum image and click on it.

Got me. I thought Alex Williams was back. I was going to remark that he'd changed his avatar from the old one with the deer in the headlights. Not sure what happened to him, he left with regrets and said he'd not be able to participate, doesn't sound good. Hope he's hangin' in there.

I just went to the website. Logged into the forum. Created a shortcut on the home screen of my phone and have never had any issues.

If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

@Hawks @TRayB @Yakster -- Thanks for tagging me in your posts as I've re-opened a tech ticket and alerted our Web Developers. I believe this to be the same issue we experienced back at the end of August, where a code deployment broke the mobile hamburger menu. Good news is there's a simple fix for it, and I'm hopeful that one of our Devs will be able to get things back to normal ASAP.

Lol, no worries. It was just a strange ending to his time here, he was a frequent participant. And hilarious. I wonder sometimes what happened to folks who were here and then gone.
Of course, sometimes they come back, tell us all what A-holes we are, post of bunch of incomprehensible drunken babble etc. That mystifies me, too.
At any rate, I certainly didn't think you were being obnoxious in any way.
