I hate it when something is missing from an otherwise interesting story.
I suppose I can take guesses as to what “it” is. The “it” with the trap attached to “it’s” f***ed up face. “It” is a squatter and a damn thing but I can’t know what “it“ is. I hate that.

If you can see the trap a glob of "Goop" glue on the end of a stick let it set up overnight, a 1x1x however long might work.

Driving today in this area's first significant snowfall... I don't know if it's the morons driving too fast for the conditions or bashful/unskilled/inexperienced people driving slower than necessary. Both are dangerous and irritate the dickens out of me.

Another thing I hate is when I blank out on stuff I need to remember.
A local buddy roasts and buys his green coffee from me. He texted at 4pm that he was heading over around 5pm to pick up. I changed into my smoking clothes and headed upstairs where I realized my phone was still in my bedroom. "No big deal" I said to myself, "I'll just get it when my cigar is over." Bad move.
I came down at six and heard my phone telling me a call was coming in. It was my pastor asking if I was OK. He had gotten a call from the MKE police (his number was on file because he was present during my 2010 home invasion). The coffee pal got worried that I didn't respond to the doorbell and texts and called the police to come do a wellness check. If I had been smoking a longer stick they would've been breaking down my door! It all ended well, but I feel like such a dumbass.

I hate those burger king ads with the off-key-on-purpose singer and super dumb lyrics. Whopper whopper whopper whopper Beeeee Kaaaaay, have it yer waaaay. When will it stop?! Can't watch football without that BS hitting my ears every time they go to commercial. I was at my parents last week and seldom had the remote in my hand so I couldn't mute fast and minimize my exposure.
I KNOW I've griped about this one before.

F**k BK.I watch a lot of hockey on espn+ and they don't have the local commercials from the feeds you get so you get the same crap every commercial break. This is one of them. Like nails on a chalkboard.

We get a lot of ads during dinner showing the fruit fly larvae in Alameda County with warnings not to transport backyard fruit because of the infestation, kind of off putting during dinner.

And so with 2025 barely a few days old, here’s the first news story of the year reporting exactly that. As per The Financial Times, “an influx of hyper-personalized phishing scams generated by artificial intelligence bots” is on the rise. These attacks are already a security nightmare and will only get worse. The newspaper says major companies including eBay now warn “of the rise of fraudulent emails containing personal details probably obtained through AI analysis of online profiles.”

F**k BK.Well, first of all, I TOTALLY agree about the annoying commercial. However, prior to your posting this I was able to tune it out, just didn't really hear it.
Now, I hear it all the way through every time.
Not blaming you, but, it is all your fault. Grating, annoying, garbage barrage.
Grrr... I thought the goofy looking King was bad, now I wish he was back and whoever OK'd this horrible commercial was dropped into the French fry vat.

LOL During these last two CFP games I have discovered my streaming capabilities, and I watched on my laptop while enjoying cigars and whiskey in the garage, but with streaming I was limited on my ability to fast forward through the commercials, but I did mute every commercial break and whenever I noticed the burger king ads, I was celebrating my small victory with great joy.

If you don't find joy in the Burger King commercials, you will have less joy but you will still have the same amount of Burger King commercials.
