I just copy and pasted this from Lindsay's post but figured some of you would like too know shes still alive and able to tell me what to do.
"I am currently awaiting discharge paperwork from the SCU. They wanted to keep me another day but I said no. As many of you know, I underwent a total hysterectomy June 2. At the time of this procedure everything had been going fine (for the most part). Today was officially 8 weeks post-op. Saturday morning was truly the scariest day of my life and what I thought was initially pain that could be rested through, ended up being a total dehiscence of my vaginal cuff, a potentially deadly complication that resulted in an emergency surgery. The pain felt was unlike anything I’ve EVER felt before and caused rigors, vomiting, and profuse sweating and a ride to the ER via ambulance. Pain medications such as fentanyl, ketorolac, and hydromorphone didn’t touch it. I remember telling paramedics and doctors that I felt like I was dying, and I meant it. You will likely notice my absence at the shop at a significant level as I take time to heal from this event. The risk of it recurring is significant as it’s a rare complication in the first place. Please be patient with me as I attempt to navigate this process. Also, thank you all for the Birthday Wishes. ❤️"
Burned through 7 gallons of gas yesterday, mowing from 0930 to 1700. Heat peaked at 99F, I believe the humidity may have dropped below 50%.
Felt good, then.
Not so much today. My body says my brain can't be in charge anymore, says the assshole would do a better job.
Thinking low key activity for today.

I'm ninety miles into the trip home, we have another three hundred miles and at least five more hours on the road but we're out of LA now so the going should be quicker.
We stopped for the dogs and to get some lunch, next stop in about ninety minutes, my Wife found a little thrift shop in this little town we stopped in so the rest of us are waiting in the car.

Ro's annual celebration of hatching has brought us North to Klamath for a few days. This is a twenty minute walk from our lodging through redwoods and ferns.
Raining outside. Sitting here trying to figure out how much wire is going to cost to go from house breaker to greenhouse. Is it to early to start drinking?
My morning cigar and the grooming of the dogs was interrupted today by my niece bringing over my grandnephews for a visit. I got out my bag of percussion toys and they had a grand old time banging away and making lots of noises with the instruments. PB&Js all around, it was a great visit, but I'm glad that they're going home at the end of the day.

Just now getting around to finishing the cigar I started smoking this morning. After the Niece took the grandnephews to the fair, I made a batch of chili dicing up the home-grown beefsteak tomatoes with the ulu knife I sometimes use to cut up plug tobacco. After dinner, Kim had me help her finish grooming Leah, holding and soothing her while Kim trimmed her legs and neither regions to make sure she stayed calm. It took a long time to trim the dog, but she looks much better now, and the groomers want way too much money these days. I do have a cigar picked out to smoke once I finish my morning cigar tonight, not sure if I'll get to it.

My son fixed the ac on his car today. It cost him a can of refrigerant and a $46 temp sensor. He watched a YouTube video of a guy doing it without removing the dash. Just removed some parts and smash some plastic that was in the way of the sensor. Saved himself a grand.
The sensor was bad when he bought the car 6 years ago. Been driving without ac the whole time. I'm glad for him and he's proud of himself. Win-win.

Go ahead and pretend you're retired today, Steve. @Amos_Umwhat

If it's after 10am, it's not too early.

Doing my son's front brakes. Sliders are seized in the caliper bracket on the left side. Back to the autoparts store....

Cruising down my street today. He stopped to talk to the car behind him so I had time to come around from the backyard and get a pic.

I sat down for a bit after mowing the lawn and a little friend came along to keep me company...
