I got asked to go on a podcast and talk about what I’m up to now. If any of you want to kill 2 hours feel free to give it a listen, but if you’re not familiar with sports betting at all it may be a bit confusing.
Just tricked a tech into checking the quality of the air filter for the vehicle inspection on a 2022 Chevy Bolt. I sold the bit all the way through until he was standing there holding the hood open over his head peering into the “engine” compartment for about 10 seconds, I ask “Weren’t you just talking about it being an EV…”
The disappointment that washed over this poor dudes face was fantastic. Even better the customer saw the whole thing from the lobby.
Took apart and installed new gaskets in the woodstoves in my studio and the house. The Dutchwest in my studio also needs a combuster, gasket, and a probe thermometer so I ordered the parts on line. Aftermarket combuster $ 150 and gasket $18.
Got an appointment to get this cancerous prostate removed next month,, been sitting on this for 11 years. Bone scan says it hasn't spread which the PSA numbers have somewhat indicated by a steady but not spectacular rise. I'm out of excuses, gonna get it gone.

Did anyone end up listening to this? Curious what people thought. Can message me privately if you prefer.
Ok, so I have zero interest in sports and betting, but I'm about twelve minutes in. It's good to hear your voice, that's cool. You sound smart, informative, engaging, I think you come across very well. I'm starting to lose interest, because sports, betting.

Completely understandable, surprised you made it 12 minutes to be honest.

Rats! That was my excuse. Now I'm going to have to see for myself. Soon. Fair warning, I only occasionally watch baseball, and really no other sports. Every few years though, a baseball game is nice, and if my son's around there's no avoiding Hockey. Betting? Never do it. I don't have that kind of luck, all the knowledge in the world won't help me.

Walked up to the fairgrounds this morning. Lots of folks were set up for a rodeo. Round corral for bucking horses and bulls. As I walked past one big black bull gave me the evil eye. If he wasn't in a pen he probably would have chased me up a tree. Horse culture is pretty strong up here. My neighbor 1/4 mile down the road has three and I pass two up the road every time I walk. Admission to the rodeo is $25 for adults.
Merlin falcon showed up today, hanging out, naturally, by the bird feeder and banging on the kitchen window to interact with the other Merlin it sees there, lol. Been at it for an hour.

Had some leftover ovaltine chocolate malt from last night. Used it as a creamer for my coffee this morning. Not bad.

BTW, I should have ,mentioned that is not my photograph, I lifted it from the web and it was not credited to anyone or I'd have listed it.
Meanwhile, sliced up extra summer squash and loaded 10 racks for the dehumidifier. Nice to have for winter stews.
Well I’ve had a months worth of healing injuries. I’m about 70%. Headed back to the mats tonight. Hopefully, I won’t suck 🤔😎
