A 3/4” pipe just 4’ from an 8” main? Sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Doors always open , work or watch, it doesn't matter

I'm used to a tractor with a cab and ac. 😂
I've put many hours in on a friend's JD 4020 (no cab) but the last ten years or so that I worked for him his toys got a lot bigger and more comfortable.

I got the first shot but never the second one. Should probably set that up.

Two blocks south of me is the Lisbon Avenue Cafe. It's been there forever, tucked away in a commercial building right on Lisbon Ave, with a realtor, dance studio, a couple of salons, and a liquor store. I'd been in the liquor store once or twice, decades ago, but never in the cafe.

Lisbon Ave is undergoing a two-year redo, going from 4 lanes (and all the idiot drivers that like to use all four lanes plus the parking lanes) down to one lane in each direction with bump-outs and a nice set-apart bike lane. I feel like a little kid as I watch the construction, enamored with the big machines and all the planning that went into the infrastructure that's underground. It's about a 2-mile stretch they're doing, with two controlled intersections being replaced by roundabouts, which I like.

A neighbor was telling me over the weekend that he's been eating at the cafe now and then, and the owner told him (maybe because the neighbor's the alderman in this district) that the construction's been killing him and he fears he might not be able to hold on. So, today I went to the Lisbon Ave Cafe for lunch. It's very old school with a counter and several booths; probably the same as it was when it opened in the 60's. But it was a great experience - great service from the 60-ish YO waitress (conversing with the regulars), and a great sandwich; a patty-melt with an egg and bacon on top w/ fries on the side.

We'll see if I go back. I shouldn't have been surprised at the prices, knowing how everything's gone up in recent years, but I only had water to drink and it came to $16. Add in a tip and... we'll see...
