Experiencing the joy of "False Fall", 60 degrees this morning, windows aren't steamed over, lovely. Could use an inch or so of rain, after 9pm please, but if it's not going to happen, well, OK.

96 F / 35 %, came inside after finishing a cigar to enjoy the cooler temp in the house. I'll be hot for the next several days, this and a family call scheduled tonight will keep me off the vHerf during the usual time.

So, I've been seeing @ShawnOL's pipe posts about KBV Dubai Chocolate and I got irresistibly curious about the chocolate confection from Dubai. When I went to Costco the other day, I couldn't find anything, but today after breakfast with my MIL, her brother, another, and my Wife at IHOP we stopped at a thrift store where I scored some books and I split off to do some shopping at Safeway next door where they had some small bars of Dubai Chocolate for $1.99 each.

I picked up four bars and me and Kim each had a bar, they're delicious. I came out and smoked a cigar and forgot about the bars, but later around dinner time I noticed that they were no longer solid, having been sitting out in our kitchen which was probably in the 80s so I popped them in the fridge.

This is a long way of saying it's all your fault Shawn for making me try the chocolate and also saying that it's finally cooled off here to 76 degrees so I'm out again enjoying a cigar tonight after a dinner of salmon and rice and corn on the cob and a good family call with the kids and my Wife and MIL.

46 last night. Low 70's in the sun. Glad I have wood laid up and glad I replaced all the gaskets in the stoves.

It's been really warm and humid down here in SoCal. It'll be cooling down this week, I'll be returning home tomorrow.

The smell of petrichor, an argillaceous odour, is wafting into the house. I didn't expect it to rain this morning when I watered the yard.

First day over 90 in almost three weeks, very unusual weather here for August/Sept.
