Try pulling out the cigars you are going to smoke and let them sit unwrapped for a couple hours before smoking.

Think 15 hours is too long? I’ll start pulling out my nightly smoke before I leave for work if that’s not too long

Some wrappers are just fragile. You could have drawn on it a little too hard at one point and heated up. You could have squeezed it a little too tight. It may have had a hairline crack that was emphasized by the heat coming through the cigar. Could have been a hundred different things. Sometimes it just happens.

If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I was definitely massaging it on the rougher side because it was a really tight draw but I didn’t crack it while doing do(I think) but about 1/3 into it I heard it cracking a little bit. It was dark and I didn’t think too much of it until I adjusted my grip and felt it flaking off in my hands.

If you smoke inside that's not too long. Some people keep a "dry box" they put their on-deck cigars in to acclimate prior to smoking them. If you smoke outside, just put the cigar out when you get home to give it some time to acclimate before smoking, but I agree with Rusty above, hakuna matata.

Just don’t overthink it. They’re a handmade product and occasionally you’ll have an issue. If it becomes a regular thing, that’s when you start looking at process or storage. Until it becomes a regular problem, pitch it and get another one. Overthinking will ruin the whole purpose of smoking in the first place.

Something I struggle with in every aspect of life not just the cigar world but you’re right I’ll let it go unless i start to notice a trend.
