I had to recreate my user name to log in. That was really weird.

My first San Cristobal. Not gonna lie, I was a little unsure about it at first but after a few minutes…it’s fantastic!

Smoking an old, strong AJ Relic from 2016.

Oh wow! That looks awesome! 2016 you say? I’m sure the aging did a great number on the flavors. A little jealous! I’m trying to age a cigar as well, doing the ol’ 70/70 rule. What kind of humidor do you have? I need one of them. Lol

Thanks, @Ross_G89, it was strong and a bit harsh, the last of three that I picked up off the Devil's Site (CigarBid) to try. This one was with my other older cigars in an old wine fridge I picked up cheap on CL years ago. I have it loaded with trays and I use 65% Bovedas.

The 70/70 rule is easy to remember, but a bit lower humidity and temperature works great with less risk for mold or hatching beetles. For wood humidors a 68% Boveda might be a good call, with platic tupperdors there's practically no leakage and 65% Bovedas will perform more like 68%s there. Most of my cigars are in 62 quart IRIS Weathertight bins which I filled up after I ran out of room in my wine fridge, I've got plenty of cigars.
