Yeah I did, the recipe I used had way too much sugar for my taste though, so I guess I can't fully embrace the southernness. Next time, I'm going to add like 1/3 of the sugar, so that it's got that tropical punch flavor while still tasting like a pickle.

Honestly I was trying to avoid making even more carbs and a bigger meal than I had room for, but I should have just made garlic bread instead of sweet potatoes.

Roasted veggies with chorizo gravy. Not as good as just regular sausage gravy, but good enough and a fun experiment.
