Well, I wasn't planning any base-jumping, but who knows now! Off the fishing pier into Hampton Roads!

It's down to 66% with a large boveda 65 in there...still waiting to see if it settles out there, that boveda has gotten fat sitting there.

It will fluctuate again when you put cigars in it.

If it don’t bother me, it don’t bother me. Just leave me alone.

I rounded up some cigars to load up while sorting thru for some dog rockets for Pete, that was a good game 7. Dropped to 53% just loading it up but soon after closing the lid it was back to 65. I'll just watch it a bit…mostly trust the Boveda but keep an eye on it's condition

6:30 or so crossing the lake I had to pull over for a couple of pictures:

Beautiful pics. Too bad you couldn’t edit the sign out of the picture.

A good cigar and the open road solve most problems.

Just cut down the sign and take the picture again. What's the worst that could happen?

    edited November 7

I like the sign in the picture, it is evocative paired with the sun.
edit: looking at it again and thinking about nature being fenced off makes it even more interesting to me.

Oh, and my wife said crop a bit off the left side and she loves the little bit of the fire hydrant. Fire and water, man and nature.

Got a call from my daughter this morning. She did her first shift as a RN in the trauma department last night. Had 12 patients. Notably, one DUI that was arrested while being treated, two gunshot wounds… one was shot 10 times. Said she loved it. 😍 🤯

Had a friend that was an ER trauma nurse, the predicaments that people get themselves in is truly mind boggling

Probably just "standing there minding his own business". That was the story I heard most often during my ER tenure. After 10 years I realized I was getting burned out, moved back to ICU.

Moved into the new place. Delivery truck unloads my stuff only to find that I am missing a lot of stuff. Missing the mattress and box spring, which feels like the most important thing right now but my floor jack, tv and a lot of other things appeared they didn't want to move with me.

I don't have problems, just more work to do.

I lost a floor jack, most of my hand tools, and all our Christmas decorations and tree last time I had a "professional" moving company move us. I feel your pain.

Watered the back yard and garden, ordered a new bag for my Toro Super Blower/Vacuum which also chops leaves for mulch, collected the neighbors leaves which they piled on the street for pickup tomorrow so that I can mulch them once the bag came in, charging my EcoFlow River 2 Pro power bank with one of my solar panels on sawhorses, put some aluminum foil over the salt chamber of my Bug-A-Salt held in place with a rubber band as a band-aid until I can print a proper lid and shot at some bugs in the back yard. Reviewed some charges with an accountant, remembered I need to review some other charges with my past broadband provider. Changed the water in the water cooler, about to go through the mail and papers for action.

Both my recent cigar purchases will be coming in tomorrow, my Wife has the day off, unfortunate timing. We probably won't be home so I'll have to pick them up or reschedule delivery.
