    Well I think a rally of the troops is in order, stat!! @OmgFrigginMike has asked for help. It is only right to help this brother of the pipe. I will send a few samples out this weekend. It will contain all measures of orientals. Once the ball has been placed in motion it is impossible to stop. Just ask @Hawks B)

    Just waiting for the sample bags to show up 🤨

    @OmgFrigginMike sent out today 🤙🏼

    Inbound from @Hawks thanks Chris I’ll probably get started on these tomorrow!

    You're welcome, Mike. Just a taster of each to see if it's what you're looking for. Like Steve said, the Charing Cross and Odyssey are still about, the McClelland is just a treat. 🎄

    Edit: I definitely recommend jars if you haven't purchased any.

    I’ve got a couple jars around here but I’m gonna need to get some more if piping turns into anything like cigars has for me.

    Extra jars are always nice. Leftover sauce or gravy. Nuts and bolts, etc.

    They're cheap.

    I’ve been wanting to try smoking pipe for the first time. What’s the best starter kit or starter pipe and a good blend to start with?

    Get yourself a 10.00 cob and some Prince Albert.

    Don't let the wife know what you spend on guns, ammo or cigars.

    Tagged you in another post about a starter pipe. As far as a noob tobacco in my experience aromatics have been a little more painful on the tongue/lips/ mouth than non. The packing technique, drying and the cadence are a lot trickier for me to figure out than I expected and varies from blend to blend.

    I absolutely don’t want to buy bulk with the blends. I want just enough for a few bowls of different kinds to find which kind I will like.

    Go to your nearest tobacconist where they have large jars with various selections. Usually, they let you try a bowl out or two before you buy. Then you can purchase 1 ounce or more depending on your preference.

    I’m in Orange County, not too many tobacco shops that aren’t really just “smoke shops”

    Have you been to LA Tobacco Trader? They seem to have a great selection.

    Come south. Temecula and San Diego have good tobacco shops. San Diego Pipe Club meets at liberty tobacco Tuesday and Sunday.
