Didn’t want to make a new thread, but anyone have good recommendations on aromatic pipe tobaccos? I love vanilla, and haven’t seemed to find one that’s stood out to me. I’ve tried some stuff from The Country Squire, and other local tobacco shops, but just nothing that’s knocked my socks off yet.

Samuel Gawith 1792 flake is STRONG and strongly flavored with tonquin which is someone like vanilla. It will ghost a pipe. You might like it, I myself have been mostly disappointed by the vanilla blends that I've tried.

I could send you a sample if you haven't tried it.

Also, flavoring pipe tobacco is fairly easy. In a small spray bottle mix 1pt pure vanilla extract to 1pt everclear 195 proof alcohol. Spread out whatever tobacco you want to use and spritz it down with the solution. Stir up the tobacco and repeat. Let the alcohol evaporate off and you're good to go. I did it with my concoction and it was not damp or gooey.

I’m not an aromatic guy but try Wilke and Ravenswood. If you’re interested trying something different than aromatic I’d be happy to share with you some samples.
