This morning we had coffee with my daughter's boyfriend's parents who have been stateside for a few weeks before returning to Sao Jorge, one of the Azores islands. The kids are living in Japan so much of the conversation was about them. My Wife had me pick up some donuts, charcuterie, and crudités, but they really only came for coffee and conversation with just a few nibbles from the spread. It was a good visit and the resulting cleaned house is another benefit.

I fixed them both cappuccinos, pulling shots of Ethiopia Yirgacheffe Aricha Adorsi Washed coffee I roasted on my Robot and steaming milk on my Gaggia Factory. I like the shots from the Robot better, I can get a bigger shot and there's no worries about overheating the coffee.

Afterwards we made a thrift store run to donate a large office chair and a few other items. I made a lap in the store but didn't find anything I needed so I waited in the car reading a book until my Wife was done scouring the store. She came away with a brown raincoat and a tall rolling shoe rack that broke down so that it would fit in the car for the trip home.

At home I was able to finish the book and fired up the steam sauna for a soak before dinner. My back feels better after the treatment, now I'm enjoying a cigar.

Cozumel, Freeport and Nassau. Nassau was the most interesting, but we didn't stay long enough. Mostly it was about the ship, at least this time. I'd never planned to "cruise", but it was more fun than I thought it would be. I'm mulling over the idea of a future trip, fly to Europe and drive around some, then cruise back, if we can find a suitable one.
