    Pete, I've learned a few things over the years as a law-abiding firearms owner, who sometimes carries a firearm. Mostly, the Law in the U.S. doesn't like people who do so, therefore, 1 - Stay within the limits of the Law, 2 - Don't talk to the Police, and 3 - Don't antagonize the police, and 4 - the side of the road is not the place to resist, there are courts for redress.

    A great series of mistakes with increasing consequences is what killed her. I'll let the investigation sort itself out, chips fall where they fall, but several bad choices lead to this tragedy. I don't rejoice in her death, or think she deserved it, but that doesn't mean she's not mostly responsible.

    So, my first post regarding this situation referred to Ashley Babbit, the woman who was shot inside the Capitol on Jan. 6. Did she deserve it, or not? Was it her fault? Where do stand on these questions?

    I guess it’s just sick that we have stopped seeing other human beings as human beings. We see them as political adversaries. We see them as the opposition. We see them as the enemy. We forget that they are people.

    You are going overboard. I never said anything like that.

    Do you see Ashley Babbitt as a human being, or was she just a deluded MAGA insurrectionist who got what she deserved?

    Surrounded by federal agents, ordered out of the vehicle, she refuses to follow lawful commands. She shifted her car into drive and started moving toward police. Bingo. She committed an act that led to her death. Suicide.

    Good was ordered by one ICE agent to leave the scene in her vehicle, while another agent simultaneously yelled for her to get out of the car and reached for the door handle.

    How many times did she and her wife drive in that area and cut off ICE cares or attempt to. Was this a person on the way somewhere, or was she out there trying to be a disruption?

    She was part of a local network of radical lefties trying to disrupt ICE officers and prevent them from arresting criminal aliens. One of those self-proclaimed social justice warriors.

    Edit; I don't believe one thing main stream media reports anymore. Ms. Good stuck her nose in business that wasn't hers. If you are concerned your gardener or tortilla maker will be deported there are probably better ways to handle it than blocking ICE vehicles
