Smoking While Lifting Weights
Anyone do this? I might start this summer. Bring my bench out in the yard, puff in between reps, and puff in between sets. Just puff throughout the whole workout session. Sounds like a cool activity.

Not a good idea to replaceing oxygen with carbon monoxide while exercising your muscles.

I guarantee you I would never do those two things at the same time.
The reason I can guarantee that is because you won't catch me lifting weights.

I personally wouldn’t entertain the idea but I do look forward to my after gym cigar most days. You do you though.

Dont forget the blow. You need to do a few lines with your beer and cigarettes while lifting weights.

This might be the most asinine thing yet. I might not know much about weight training but I’m pretty sure flooding your muscles with nicotine (any levels at all) hinders muscle growth and healing. To the point about carbon dioxide, correct. Your muscles still need oxygen (in the blood stream) to operate effectively and efficiently and also proper healing. And if you’re not booting testosterone (which I know nothing about) you’re also killing testosterone….. lift weights… relax a little, have a cigar as a night cap. But again, nothing I know from experience.

Smoking cigars boosts masculinity, therefore boosting testosterone. Hand in glove. Nevermind that science crap everyone keeps going on about. Arnold smokes cigars and look at what he achieved. The defense rests.
